ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Alina Tahir Zaidi, a professional illustrator and artist from Pakistan. With over 15 years of experience as an artist, my journey has been a vibrant blend of creativity and storytelling. Since starting my career as a professional illustrator in October 2023, I’ve illustrated 9 books, with more in progress. My work focuses on creating captivating illustrations for children, blending vibrant colors and engaging storytelling to spark their imagination.
Some of my notable projects include the NURU series for Kenya’s Star Kids Initiative, empowering underprivileged children with themes like confidence and self-awareness. I’ve also illustrated the Jack the Fly series, teaching kids acceptance for those who are different, and Tiny Christmas Angel, a heartfelt book for children who’ve lost siblings. Currently, I’m working on a book raising awareness about Pitt-Hopkins syndrome.
In addition to my children’s book illustrations, I work with Just Lynn as a line artist, where I create minimalistic yet impactful designs that resonate with elegance and creativity. My line art transforms simplicity into captivating visuals that inspire and engage.
I also specialize in Pen & Ink art, with hand-drawn sketches that reflect intricate details and timeless beauty. My ink drawings are a celebration of traditional artistry, crafted with precision and passion, offering depth and emotion to every stroke.
